Double Deep Racking

Double Deep Racking (Double deep racking system) is a variation to selective racking; but pallets are now stored into two rows deep instead of one.

This limits immediate accessibility to only the two aisle facing pallet rows, making it first in, last out (FILO) pallet rack system.

This type of racking requires specialised pallet handling equipment using either a specialised forklift or a standard unit with a double deep handling attachment.
